8. Don’t replace the users’ current work practices: note taking, todo lists, prioritization - just make them easier

9. Help the user avoid extra motion to perform an action - e.g., lifting hands off keyboard to perform 3 mouse operations multiplied by n items

10. Don’t trouble the user with new installs - rely on the tools they have
